Captain Richard Phillips, whose ordeal with Somali pirates was told in the movie, Captain Phillips, spoke at the Dillon Lecture Series this morning. There was a great turn out and he shared his story and some photos taken during the pirate attack.
The Dillon Lecture Series is celebrating 25 years of bringing great speakers to Hutchinson. The next one is November 4 and features NASA engineer, Dr. Adam Steltzner who led the team that invented the landing system for the Mars Curiosity Rover.
