Photographer Sharon Scott’s exhibit, “Here is Where: Moments of Resonance with Nature,” opens this Saturday February 13th, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. in the upstairs auditorium at Hutchinson Public Library, 901 N. Main St, Hutchinson KS. Refreshments will be provided. The photos will be on display for the remainder of the month.
“We are physically and energetically part of the natural world around us. When we spend too much time in artificial environments, this nourishing connection is constricted, and our physical/mental/spiritual health suffers.
To me, a bird, river, tree, animal, stone or insect is another kind of being, with a deeper history than my human one, and a different kind of awareness. When I feel the resonance of the connection between us, that is what I try to capture and share. As you experience each photo, I hope it will resonate in you as well, and broaden your connection to the natural world around you,” says Scott.
The exhibit is free and available anytime the library is open.
