Farmer’s Market on May 11

veggiesAs the growing season moves on more varieties of fresh produce are
appearing at the Reno County Farmer’s Market, located at the corner of
Washington St, and 2nd Ave, hours, 7:30am -12:30pm, Saturday, May 11.

In addition to having the opportunity to purchase healthy, locally grown fruits and vegetables the shopper may select from wide array of items
including jams and jellies, salsa and local honey, enchiladas and bierocks,
cupcakes and candy. One will also find live plants for the house and
garden along with unique gifts and one of a kind craft items.

If you’re not in a buying mood please come to the Market for the cooking
demonstrations, to meet your friends and neighbors, get a balloon animal
for the youngsters and of course listen to the entertainment.

This week’s featured musical entertainment will be furnished by The Zac
Kitson Project, a talented Jazz combo. Zac and the boys will have patrons
snapping their fingers as they enjoy the Farmer’s Market experience.

The Zac Kitson Project is sponsored by the Hutchinson/Reno Arts and
Humanities Council in partnership with Downtown Hutchinson and the
Reno County Farmer’s Market. For more information please contact HRAH
